Foster Parents
We already started with individual help, i.e. to help the poorest families and their children, giving them access to clean water wells, if necessary for the children a bicycle to go to (secundary) school, or for children to enable them to go to school at all. Our partner CAMDOC in Cambodia made a list of those children that are intelligent and in a situation that their family cannot afford to send them to school.
In such situations you can help with a monthly amount of € 30 and become a foster parent for a child and its family. For this amount of money the family becomes basic food supply (e.g. 50 kg of rice) and the child will get school necessities like books, pencils, english lessons, shoes and a uniform. The families will only be paid in nature. In the case some of the money is not directly needed, it will be used to help other people.
In return we will establish a kind of contact between the child and you in the form of some exchange of information, photographs and letters. Our people in Cambodia will act as translators in this process. On a 3 monthly basis you will be reported on what has been done with your spendings.
